Board of Directors

The Arnprior & District Humane Society Board of Directors is made up of community members who care about the wellbeing of animals.

We are committed to the success of this humane shelter and meet once a month to discuss items such as fundraising, animal adoption, staffing, resources, and goals.

For candidates 18 and older who would like to become a Board Member, there are many different avenues to help support our cause once you are seated.

Characteristics of a Board Member include:

Different Experiences – A variety of expertise and perspective to promote strategic ideas and dialogue.

Supportive of Events – Being a lead organizer or assisting at events and fundraisers in the community.

Cooperative and Respectful – Working with a diverse team to ensure the best outcome for the ADHS.
