We may be busy with animal care or other clients, please leave a message so we can return your call. We are a small shelter without administrative staff, our phone is monitored by the shelter manager who is often busy assisting with the needs of the shelter pets.
Please note: The Arnprior & District Humane Society can only accept animals from the local bylaw officers. If you have found a stray cat or dog in Arnprior, please contact 613-809-7048 to arrange pick up.
Report animal abuse:
If an animal is being neglected or abused call the Ontario Animal Protection Call Centre at 1-833-926-4625 or call 911 in an emergency when any life is in immediate danger or distress.

Regular Hours:
Monday to Friday 12pm to 5pm
Saturday 12pm to 4pm
We are closed Sundays, statutory holidays, Easter Monday, and the August Civic holiday.
