FOSTER HOMES – Needed Immediately.
Please review our current pet list.
Can you help?
We need foster homes to care for pregnant cats and litters that are arriving all the time at our facility. As a foster care provider, all food, litter, treats, toys, litter box, etc. are provided to you without expense. We just need you to provide a loving home environment to get these kittens off to a good start. If you’ve ever thought about being a foster care provider and have the time to devote to a young family or require further information, please call the shelter 613-623-0916.
DONATE – We need money!
Many of our most desperate needs can only be met with cash; veterinary services, utilities, etc. You, your company, school or store can support the Arnprior & District Humane Society by choosing to donate to our organization and help us promote animal welfare and the protection of animals.
Other ways to donate:
- Placing our coin boxes &/or chocolate bars in your business to generate ongoing donations.
- When you are at Pet Valu stores in Arnprior or Renfrew you can buy food, collars, leashes, toys and cleaning supplies and place them in the Humane Society bins that are available at both stores.
- Support our raffles, bake sales, walk-a-thon, bottle drive, garage sale, etc.
- Organize something yourself – a sports tournament: golf, bowling, softball, hockey, etc. Car wash, raffle, bake sale, barbecue, craft sale, garage sale, gala, etc.
- Donate directly; send a cheque or use the PAYPAL button on our homepage, etc.
- Collect animal care items needed by the shelter:
