Pet Pics Our "Pet pics with Santa" Dec. 10 & 11 was a wonderful success with over 60 pets having their picture taken with Santa. We were able to raise $1,734 with all proceeds to the animal shelter. Thank you to everyone who brought their pet buddy to the Arnprior Mall and helped to support us.

Bake Sale The Bake Sale fundraising event Saturday, November 26 was a great success! The animal shelter receives 100% of the proceeds which raised $1,070! Our thanks go out to the wonderful people who donated items for the sale, the volunteers who donated their time during the event and to the community that supported us with their purchases and cash donations.

"FILL 'EM UP" Supply Drive "FILL 'EM UP" Supply Drive October 15 was a great success despite the cool and blustery weather! You filled up 4 vehicles with an astounding supply of pet food, cat litter, paper towels, laundry soap, bleach, blankets, towels as well as cash donations. Shown here with a view of some of our haul is Jennifer Smith and Stephanie Cantrell. Many thanks to all who volunteered,the community that supported us with all the much needed items and Pet Valu Arnprior.

June 2011 Walkathon - The Walkathon was a great success thanks to so many energetic dog owners, sponsors, volunteers & others. The shelter raised $9500, a recent record amount. Thanks to all.

Canine Association Dog Show - $765 was received over the 3 day event. Thanks to our volunteers for manning the admission table.

Yard Sale - The weather was awful! - but the support was fantastic! Lots of bargains were found by the great turnout of treasure hunters. We raised $1700 thanks to all the volunteers, donors and shoppers. Thanks!

Microchip Clinic The Microchip Clinic held Sunday, April 10 tagged 12 animals this year. We thank Dr. Don Caldwell who donates his time and expertise every year to the shelter for this annual event. Thanks also to Gail & Jessica for assisting Dr. Don. The proceeds for the day will purchase 50 microchips for the future animals that come to the shelter.

2010 Pet Pics Despite bad weather the 2 day Pet Pics event raised $1630. Thanks to our tireless elf volunteers. We hope all the pets and their owners enjoyed meeting and being photographed with Santa. We even had a bunny visit this year for a Pic with Santa. Wondering if he asked Santa for a gig called "Easter Pics"?  You never know.
