Frozen Berry Fundraiser
Back by popular demand, the Arnprior & District Humane Society is holding their frozen berry fundraiser again this year. Perfect for smoothies and baking, we have three berry types available: cranberries (2kg bag for ), blueberries (2kg bag for ), raspberries (2.5kg for ). The berries are flash frozen and delivered from Nova Scotia. Cranberries and blueberries are from Nova Scotia and the raspberries are imported from Chile.
Orders can be placed up until 12pm on Feb.9th either online or in person at the Arnprior Humane Society, 490 Didak Drive. Payment is due at the time of order.
Berry pick-up is Friday Feb. 22 at one of two locations:
- Nepean (Ikea mall off Greenbank Rd. 4:30-5:00pm)
- Arnprior (Arnprior Humane Society 5:45-6:15pm)
Everyone who ordered berries last year raved about the quality and wished they had purchased more, so don’t miss out!

Pet Pics with Santa in Arnprior
Mark your calendars for the Arnprior & District Humane Society’s Annual “Pet Pics with Santa”.
Two events are being held this year; Santa will be at Pet Valu Almonte December 1st and 2nd from 10am to 4pm and at the Rona Store, 236 Madawaska Blvd. ,Arnprior on December 8th, from 9am to 4:30pm and 9th from 10:30am to 3:30pm for pictures with your pet. Children and families are also welcome to get their picture taken with Santa
We will be offering prints as well as digital copies to easily share with family and friends via email and social media. Digital copies will be sent by email within a few days after the event.

Come join us for an evening of fun creating your own unique wall sign in support of the Arnprior & District Humane Society.
Out of the Woods Designs will lead you through creating your very own personal piece of art!
To reserve your spot for this event, payment can be made at the shelter, 490 Didak Dr.,Arnprior, Ont.

Refreshments will be available during the event. Reservations are suggested if you plan to have a meal before hand.

Bake & Book Sale, Christmas in the Prior
The Arnprior & District Humane Society will be hosting its annual Book and Bake Sale Sunday November 4th as part of the 5th Annual Christmas in the “Prior” event at the Nick Smith Centre.
Come enjoy some delicious baked goods, find a good book to read, and visit the vendor and artisan craft tables. Enjoy free admission and shop from 10am – 4pm.
Donations for the Bake and Book Sale are being sought. Please drop off donations of home baked goods, jams, jellies, preserves, and gently used books at the Arnprior Humane Society, 490 Didak Drive, on Saturday November 3rd between noon and 5pm OR at the Nick Smith Centre, 77 James Street, on Sunday November 4th between 8:30 and 10am.
Please no donations at Nick Smith centre prior to Nov. 4, given no volunteers will be on site to accept them.
