Arnprior and District Humane Society is a non-profit organization serving the Ottawa Valley.
Our mandate is to protect animals by offering food and shelter to those in need.
- Ours is a no-kill shelter.
- To provide for the humane care and treatment of all animals coming into the possession of the humane society and to develop.
- To promote through education and public awareness the humane treatment of animals.
- To communicate with other local humane societies in areas of education in the humane treatment of animals.
- To prevent cruelty to animals by offering to feed and shelter animals in need and by seeking the assistance of the appropriate police forces in enforcing animal protection laws.

Shelter Hours: Closed Sunday, Open Monday through Saturday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
